Clapp original watercolor

$475.00

This is an 11x15” original watercolor painting mounted in one of my reclaimed frames.

All materials used in framing are acid free-archival.

When I was twenty two, I came to town for the last time, met Geoff working at cafe Luna uptown. I hadn’t started studying music at Delgado yet, but I had always played music, and I owned a drumset.

Clapp told me he’d put me on the list for his gig, I went and it changed the trajectory of my life. We would hang out from time to time for the next three decades. This image came from a practice room off of Washington ave.. I saw the light coming in the window. I had the photo hanging in my studio for years before I painted it. It still might become an oil painting in the future…
