The Cabrini bridge means a lot of things to people around here. I was playing the drums at the Pitot house across the street from this bridge for some friends of friends, little did I know my future wife was working with the catering company that night. It was the first time we made eyes at each other. This bridge forever reminds me of that moment.

I took the reference pic for this painting walking the dogs early one morning in late October. It was the pause between breathing in and breathing out, It wasn’t daytime yet, but it wasn’t nighttime either. The moon was at its fullest, low in the sky, reflecting on the water. Im glad I caught it. I think this is one of the most beautiful areas of the city and I am lucky to live within walking diastace.
